For over three decades, Socértima has constructed projects which meet the challenges of a competitive market. The company from Anadia has been able to evolve even in the most unstable scenarios affecting the sector because of the quality of its services and the compe- tence and experience of its activity. Founded in 1984, it currently holds the position of a solid and trustworthy company, ready to face the future.
The company’s main priorities are maintaining the satisfaction level of its clients, developing its technical team and working continu- ously to maintain an organic growth. The company was awarded the Quality Certification for the NP EN ISO 9001 Standard.It has obtained Public Works Contractor Licence No 370 – EOP and is legally autho- rised to carry out civil construction projects, as well as Class 6 general contracting. Focussing on construction and public works since 1993, its area of influence currently extends throughout the entire central region of Portugal. Today, Socértima wants to concentrate on private construction projects, together with public works. Socértima, rooted in its rigorous approach to management, believes in the future.

HISTORY

1983

Socértima, Sociedade de Construção do Cértima, Lda was founded by the current Managing Partner, Elídio Alferes in 1984, with a share capital of 1,000,000$00 (former Portuguese currency).

1985

The company obtained the Industrial Licence for Construction, No 10313 ICC.

1989

The company also secured the Industrial Licence for Contractor of Public Works, No 370 – EOP.

1993

Construction and Public Works has been a main focus, currently encompassing the entire Central Region and part of the Northern Region of Portugal.

1997

The company has also acquired the Class 3 Licence for Construction of Buildings and Reinforced Concrete by the Licensing Commission of Public and Private Works.

2000

The Licence was elevated to Class 4 for General Contracting of Buildings by IMOPPI.

2004

The Licence was again raised to Class 5 for General Contractor or General Constructor of Buildings using Traditional Construction Methods by IMOPPI.

2006

The share capital increased to €500,000.00.

2007

Again, the Licence was upgraded and has been maintained at Class 6 for General Contractor or General Constructor of Buildings using Traditional Construction Methods by IMOPPI.

2008

It has been recognised as a PME Líder (SME Leader)

2009

Commemoration of the Company’s 25 year Anniversary

2010

Quality Certification by standard NP EN ISO 9001 – Certification of Quality Management Systems, through the MOVE SME programme

2013

Having fulfilled all the requirements of standard NP EN ISO 9001- Certification of Quality Management Systems, its Quality Certification was renewed for another three years

2014

Commemoration of the Company’s 30 year Anniversary

2015

In a joint venture with other companies, Socértima has expanded its activity to East Timor
